Who are we? A boulangerie, viennoiserie, patisserie AND epicerie fine rolled into one!

Founded in 1977, FRENCH RIVIERA Bakery Cafe has over 40+ years of experience serving Houstonians. We offer traditional and artisanal French fare featuring timeless classics such as the croissant, baguette and quintessential chocolate eclair. What started off as a mere boulangerie in 1977 has flourished into a contemporary cafe (supplied by our on-site bakehouse of course).
With expertise and knowledge gained from over four decades, we're confident our products are sure to please. For us, quality and service are important core values that guide our day-to-day operations. Stop in and browse our ever-growing selection of curated goods. We're constantly updating our inventory to bring you items that are otherwise hard to find in the Houston area. Some of our current favorites include the vibrant Torchons & Bouchons tea towels—inspired by French heritage—and Trinitaine tins filled with galettes (buttery biscuits). Brighten up your kitchen with a colorful tea towel (or even frame it!) and re-purpose the tin once you finish the biscuits inside.

Our commitment to quality means we make everything from scratch each day without the use of preservatives and give all our products an artisanal touch. What makes us special? We're best known for our French breads and flaky croissants. Some of our best sellers are the Almond, Pain aux Raisins and Ham & Cheese croissants; all are perfect for breakfast or as a snack on the go.
If you're craving something more filling, we have an all-day breakfast menu as well as a variety of lunch options such as the popular Croque-Madame, Nicoise Salad and crowd-pleasing Tuna Salad Croissant Sandwich.
